AC Milan Accused Not Respect on Borussia Dortmund, What Problem?
Milan have taken a disrespectful action against Borussia Dortmund, with their efforts to recall the striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang. It was announced by Dormtund CEO Hans-Joachim Watzke.
Aubameyang became the top scorer of the Bundesliga last season, making some big European clubs interested in bringing the Gabon bomber. Milan, Chelsea, and Chinese clubs into teams that are eager to sign him.
But Dortmund sporting director Michael Zorc said on Tuesday (18/7) that the deadline set for the striker to change club is over. So they closed the meeting doors for negotiations regarding the transfer of Aubameyang.
This is further clarified by Watzke’s assertion that Auba will stay at Signal Iduna Park. They claim that there is no immediate problem for Dortmund to release the sharp striker.
“We are negotiating constantly with his agent and also with him. This is an open discussion between us all the time, “Watzke told reporters.
“We had a meeting before. There is no difference and I think we continue to convince Auba because of his achievements and because he is a great player, ”
Reakn Watzke of Milan Marco Fassone openly refer to Aubameyang as the Rossoneri’s last target in the summer exchanges. So far the steps that have been done Dortmund has not run well, and threatened to lose the striker.
“Sometimes Borussia Dortmund should plan a strategy,” Watzke said. “It’s impossible for other club managers to just say, ‘Oh, we also want to have players like this’.
“The conditions, shown from AC Milan, indicate their lack of respect for us.”
Auba scored two goals in the International Champions Cup in Guangzhou against Milan, which ended 3-1 to win Dortmund.
“Obviously he has tried to play with his thoughts and try something else, that’s right. But I think he is happy with us, as you see in the match against Milan, “Watzke added.
“He feels good in the team and the club. We feel good with him who is part of the club. So there is no problem is quite alarming, “he said.
Please note, Aubameyang himself never in uniform Rossoneri in 2008-2011. But he was never given a chance, so bought by Saint-Ettienne in the 2011 season and lasted until 2013, before choosing Dortmund to date. (Source: BBC Sport)
